139 Spring St, Millis, MA
Our program is uniquely situated on Tangerini's Spring Street Farm, a working family farm that provides the perfect setting for children to connect with nature, agriculture, and seasonal rhythms. This special location allows children to experience firsthand where their food comes from and develop a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Children have access to the farm's growing fields and gardens, where they participate in planting, tending, and harvesting throughout the seasons. These spaces provide authentic opportunities for learning about plant life cycles, food production, and sustainable agriculture.
Adjacent to the farm fields are woodland areas that serve as our forest classroom. Here, children explore diverse ecosystems, observe wildlife, build with natural materials, and develop a sense of wonder and stewardship for the natural world.

Our program emphasizes the use of natural materials for play and learning. Children engage with logs, sticks, leaves, and other natural elements, developing creativity and a deeper connection to the natural world through these authentic materials.
Throughout our farm, we create inviting spaces for children to express themselves creatively. Using natural and found materials, children develop their artistic abilities while deepening their connection to the environment around them.

Spring brings seed starting, soil preparation, and planting. Children observe the awakening of the natural world, from emerging buds to returning birds, and participate in the excitement of new growth.
Summer is a time of abundance, with vegetable harvesting, water play, and exploration of the farm at the height of its productivity. Children experience the joy of picking and eating food straight from the garden.
Fall offers opportunities for harvesting, preserving food, collecting seeds, and observing the changing colors and preparations for winter throughout the farm and forest.
Winter provides unique opportunities to experience the farm in its resting state, observe animal tracks in the snow, care for animals in cold weather, and participate in indoor seed starting for the coming spring.
The best way to understand our unique learning environment is to visit Tangerini's Spring Street Farm and see how children engage with this special place.
